Before I became a health coach, I had a really messed up relationship with food and diet. I wanted to look GOOD (don’t we all?) and I thought that also meant being THIN. In my mind, being thin required starving myself, or trying the latest fad diet so that I could lose weight.
In my 20s, I would keep a little calorie counter guidebook in my purse, and I would obsessively track how many calories I ate every day, scrutinising every mouthful of food that I consumed.
It was so exhausting! But I didn’t know any other way to lose weight and keep it off.
Little did I know that I was probably doing more worse than I was good, messing with my metabolism by not eating enough calories, or providing my body with adequate nutrition.
I also felt like I was on an emotional ROLLERCOASTER, weighing myself every day and getting so frustrated when the numbers on the scales would go up and down for no apparent reason despite everything I was trying.
I now know, after studying two different nutrition and coaching courses, that this approach was the completely wrong way to look and feel the way I wanted.
But back then, I didn’t know any better. I was yet to figure out that our soul foods- movement, spirituality, passion and purpose, relationships and adequate self care- were just as important to feeling great as the food I fed myself with.
We as humans need to be nourished in more ways than through the food we eat. When we approach our diet and lifestyle HOLISTICALLY- that is when the shifts happen.
That is why I have created Get Healthy, Happy & Sexy. I want to teach you the tricks that I now know actually work when it comes to feeling amazing every day.
This 12-week group coaching program shows you not just what to eat, but HOW to eat and to LIVE so that you are nourished completely. That is when the shifts take place!
Registrations are now open for Get Healthy, Happy & Sexy– I’d love to work with you in this program so you too can heal your relationship with food.
Go Get Healthy, Happy & Sexy now and start 2015 with a bang!
