I thought it would be most fitting to publish my first blog post talking about my Big Why for doing what I do as a holistic health and lifestyle coach and running The Wellness Warung.

I look around me every day and I see people struggling with their weight, suffering from illness, feeling tired and worn out, not being their best selves, and I feel so SAD, because for most people they just don’t know.

They don’t know the junk food they are eating is heightening their health problems, the lack of exercise is exacerbating their physical issues and concerns, that lack of sleep and self-care is contributing to their stress and anxiety, and I know that if they were doing something they loved, their lives would be so different.

This is my why.

I have experienced first-hand how amazing life can be when you feel your best. When you are healthy on the inside and out, you feel happy and complete and you believe you can achieve your full potential.

I believe that health and happiness is something everyone deserves, and it is through knowledge and education that we can be empowered to make choices that are informed.

Every day I live my life as an example to those around me. I answer questions that I get about my plant based diet, about exercise and fitness and about my self-care practices.

I also like to educate people about different foods they are eating (and what they shouldn’t be), about different aspects of health and wellness that concern them (be it how to lose weight, get more fertile or have more energy, for example). It is my passion to inspire and motivate.

I love teaching raw food cooking classes and doing health coaching because I love helping people to better their lives and to get on a path to health and happiness so that they too can live the life of their dreams.

We are all deserving of this and with information, guidance and support; I believe we can all attain it.

My website and business, my work, is all about helping, guiding, assisting, supporting and informing as many people as I can about the powers that food and a healthy lifestyle bring in having a full and happy life.

It may seem confusing and difficult, but that is why I am here- to dissect the theories, to keep it real and to make the information accessible and available to help you so that being healthy is easy and fun!

I believe that focusing too much only on the food is not whole enough. I love raw foods and I follow a high raw diet, and share the raw food lifestyle with my clients, but I would never enforce that way of eating on anyone.  want to also provide tools of health empowerment beyond just the food.

There is the spiritual element, the relationships we have, the career path we choose, the environment, there is LIFE, which is so much more than just the food we eat to make us happy. Raw foods are amazing but that alone is not the full picture.

I also want to intertwine my own life journey of health into that which I share with you so you can see I’m not always perfect, that I have flaws and problems too, but you can see how I manage them and maybe learn from my own explorations.
